Welcome To My World

Hello,

I have always been fascinated by history and how man survived without all of today's conveniences.

I am currently working on the first of a trilogy paranormal. It is set in the Wallowa Mountains of Northeast Oregon within a tribe of Nez Perce or as they call themselves Nimiipu Native Americans. The plight of the Native American has always tugged at my heart. I have felt the white man unceremoniously pushed these people who had lived in their territories for thousands of years out of what was rightly their land and treated them poorly. So as you can tell, my stories are biased to the Nimiipu.
Anyway, I digress, I have the first draft of my current WIP finished and am in the layering process. Adding more description and emotion. So far one of my critique partners who has read the first draft all the way through was sad to see it end and kept pushing for more chapters as I was writing it. I think that is why I got it finished so fast, her enthusiasm to keep reading pushed me to keep putting it down on paper.

I am also co-authoring a chicklit/murder mystery with another writer. It is a fun experience putting our heads together and coming up with funny characters in a murderous setting. :)
