Shoveling gravel last evening it hit me. I now know what my subplot is in the wip and it is like my story has been renewed in my head! What a great feeling! And I like the idea of the subplot except for it creates yet another POV in the story. I have four right now! NOt sure if that's good or not, but we'll see what happens down the road when I start sending it places. The extra POV's aren't every chapter, but strung out through the book. The villain isn't in every chapte rand POV is his. The other is the warrior taking Wren from her mountain, and now I'll have Wren's younger brother's POV. We'll see if it improves the story.
We are putting in the yard this weekend. Rocks around the pond, the pond, the sprinkler system and seeding the lawn. I don't think I'll get much writing done, but I'll do a lot pf plotting in my head while I'm doing all that manual labor!
