Two chapters and cookin'

I've edited two chapters this morning. Tightening, rewording, making this story sparkle and shine. At least I hope that's what the agents think when I send it off.

What has been so great is while I've been going through and editing, I've come across helpful information on blogs, from fellow writers, and even the chapter meeting. The only bad thing is once I get through this edit- I think I need to do one more! I've gleaned some more info that I need to go back through and see if I took care of this time around or not!

Do we ever truly just let a piece of writing go and feel it is done and at it's best? When I look at my website, I want to get in there and tweak somethings I wrote! Sheesh! I'm never happy!

I don't know. I don't think a piece will ever be done until it's in print, and even then I think published authors sometimes look at their stuff and wish they could go back and make changes. It's the nature of the game.
