New week, new adventures!

I'm still plugging along on the revisions and liking what is happening! I loved this story when I started it and I'm loving it even more with the depth I'm adding and the torture I'm inflicting upon the characters. Me the pacifist, never thought I'd find so much enjoyment in this kind of torture! LOL

Working on this and what I am adding is showing me I need to do some more indepth digging for the characters of the second book. Which now, I can hardly wait to do.

How much internal conflict/torture do you like in your characters?

Hmm... great question.

I love that you're torturing your characters. That's a great step in a writers life. Don't you think? I think it shows great growth. I'm glad you're having fun with it.

Torturing characters is a hard one for me at this point because I get to emotionally involved and don't want to hurt them. Yeah, that's a great way to make your story interesting. NOT! So, I need to grow up and torture, torture, torture the hell outta my characters and just get over it!

I love reading about tortured heroes. They're my favorite. Except Outlander, by Diana Gabaldon, now she overly tortures her hero in that book to the point where I up and sold the entire series to a used book store because I couldn't take it. I finished Outlander, skimmed through the next few in the series to see what she'd done to them, and sold them all! LOL

Yeah, I'm a wimp. A little torture is great and moves it along, but too much can ruin a book.

Have fun with it Paty! I know you'll find the perfect balance.

Hey, I finally updated my blog, twice! It only took me a month in-between posts. LOL
