Well after all my struggles getting internet at Princeton (the marvelous antenna that was supposed to work, didn't) and the weather was so miserable I couldn't get a connection even driving around to the usual spots.
But the reason I"m back early is last night when I changed the wheel lines, a rusty mainline pipe split open in a six inch gash and then the add-on pipe and the hose the dh manufactured to use when the line scooted over, didn't work on the other line, so he told me to come on home. Which I did through a blinding snow storm for over half the trip!
Tuesday morning when I changed the pipes it was snowing and raining. But all went well and I was happy. I spent the day inside watching it snow and rain as I wrote and edited and stayed warm. The sun was shining when I went out in the evening to change the pipes and then everything went wrong.
So I am home and hope to have a good Friday post for you on May 1st which happens to be my publishers third birthday! And the editors from all the lines will be posting all day at the The Wild Rose Press Blog Behind the Garden Gate. So pop over there if you were ever wondering about The Wild Rose Press.
