Friday Faves-

Wow- I can't believe it's Friday already.

Faves this week- Alaska daughter and her three children are here. They've been fun even though they arrived sick.

Our oldest daughter and her two arrived last night along with my dad. So we have a full house which will be fuller on Saturday when we have a birthday party for my dad and my oldest brother and his family arrive to celebrate.

I didn't get as much writing done this week as I'd like, but I caught snatches of time to get some more research done and hopefully between trips to town and a visit to the zoo, I'll find some time to put that information to use in my story.

My husband and I celebrated our thirtieth anniversary by taking our daughter and her three to dinner with us. We're headed on an Alaskan cruise in September to really celebrate.

I enjoy having authors promo'd on my blog on Wednesday because I make new friends and get to know peopel I would not normally get to meet.

My favorite thing about today... my daughters, my oldest daughter's friend, and I are having a girls day. We're attending a spa in the morning and then having lunch while the kids are all being watched by babysitters. Yeah!! A girl's day!

How was your week?

Sounds like fun, Paty! I enjoyed spending part of Mother's Day eating cinnamon buns with my mom and sister. Just us girls. I usually don't get to spend much girl time anymore. I'm surrounded by males in my house. No girls in sight. LOL.

Girls' day sounds like fun. My daughter if only 14 so we haven't ever done a spa day. We're doing a coffee shop, Borders' day this weekend. Lovely grandchildren in your picture.

Susan M., Your Mother's day sounds like fun! We had a good time and the girls(both stay at home moms) enjoyed their time away from the kids.

Susan K., When my oldest was 14 I thought we'd never be able to do anything together but now I enjoy all the time I spend with both my girls. That was only two of the grandchildren at my house at the moment. They are loud, but they are a lot of fun!
