This past week has flown by.
Last Friday my daughter's and I went to a spa. About twice a year we are all together when the Alaskan daughter comes down to visit. It's a fun time without their kids clinging to them when we can visit.
I mowed the lawn with two of my grandsons.
Received word I can get my author copies of Miner in Petticoats.
The singer I wanted to win became the next American Idol.

The spa day sounds wonderful, the mowing looks fun, congrats on the print copies, and I think of you every time I see/hear an American Idol commercial! Glad your choice won! I'll have to make a point to watch that next season.
Have a great holiday weekend! I'm planting my garden...finally!
I just spent four hours yesterday morning at a spa with one of my local CPs. I hadn't done that in a while, and it was wonderful. I didn't want to leave!
Congrats on planting the garden, Lauri. I planted some flowers a couple weeks ago. First they were frosted and now I think I've killed them from lack of water. I do not have a green thumb!
Helen, aren't spa days fun!
LOL a spa to me means some quiet time soaking in the tub, and, if I'm lucky, I even get time to paint my toenails! Maybe some day I'll try a real one. *G*
Sounds like a fun day!
