Friday Faves

Let's see this week there were a couple faves happening.
First- drum roll please- I finished the WIP!! Yep, just have to go through my CP's comments and then another read through to add some things and it will be off to my editor.

Second- I was on the local morning TV talk show on Monday. Tuesday I received a very nice e-mail from a gentleman who saw me on the show, and being a history buff was intrigued by information I'd gathered while writing the first Halsey brother book. He said he was coming to my signing today to talk more with me and buy my book. After an appearance on the show for each of my five published books this is the first time someone contacted me and is coming to the signing because of the show.

Third - I managed to ride my horse twice this week. Not as much as I would have liked, but better than the week before. ;)

Fourth - next week I'm headed to Princeton to water on Monday and Tuesday and then I'm heading to a wedding in Montana with one of my oldest daughter's friend. So it should be a fun road trip.

I'm getting ready for my book signing this afternoon locally and then I'm off at 5am tomorrow morning for an all day book festival in West Linn with 40 other authors. It should be fun. I'm speaking about researching my books during my 15 minute spotlight.

HOw did you week go? Anything fun and exciting happen?

Exciting? Got a great review, amazing new cover art, and I'm 3K away from meeting a 15K writing challenge for the week. All in all, a good week! Now, to the 3K...
