Well...

I'm looking forward to hearing what Santa brought you and how your holiday went. So spill.

I received the purse I took a picture of and sent to my husband on his phone. ;) Now that I don't have children at home to show Dad what I want, I have to be more inventive. We stayed with our oldest daughter and her family. Our other daughter and her family were there, my mother-in-law, my dad and my younger brother and his family. It was a fun family filled weekend.

On Saturday we went on a horse drawn trailer ride through a herd of elk. The Wildlife Federation distribute hay in several areas during the winter to keep them from tearing up rancher's hay stacks and sheds.

My best Christmas present was the release date for Doctor in Petticoats. August 6th. Now I can start working on promotion ideas and setting up book signings.

Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas! I made out like a bandit when it comes to clothes, shirts, vests, sweaters, sweatshirts, boots...hhhmmmm, maybe they are trying to tell me something. :)

Hope you have a very Happy New Year!

Congratulations on the release date! Our trip to Jamaica earlier this month was our big gift.

Lauri, you did make out like a bandit! LOL

Thanks Helen, that's right, you're trip was your Christmas present.

We're spending the New Year with friends on NY's Eve. Should be fun!

Wishing you both a happy New Year! You both have writing careers that are taking off! Congrats!

Sounds like you & Garrett had a great time. Lots of family fun!

I know there are elk around here, but not like in the Vernonia area where I lived for a couple of years. I miss seeing them. The wagon ride is something I'd love to do.

Wishing you many blessings in the New Year!
