Name Game

Hi all, this is my hero for my "Jungle Book". The book is set in South America and my hero grew up there. He is a guide and is infiltrating the drug world. I'm having problems picking a name for him so I'm going to throw it out to you. Here are my picks so far. I plan to use Kostas as the last name.
So here they are:

Dontae Kostas
Corin Kostas
Viktor Kostas

They all have meanings of power/strength, winning or spear.

So which name do you think fits the photo? If I choose the name you pick, you'll receive a gift from me. So take a good look and let me know what you think.

The workshop I taught on Saturday went well. Just the right amount of attendees to keep it informal and cozy. I enjoy helping writers who are starting on this journey. I also sold 10 books so it was a good all around day.

The book sounds like it will be pretty good and the guy is yummy. All three names are good, but he looks like a "Viktor Kostas" to me.

I was thinking he looks like a Viktor, too, LOL, though I really don't like that name.

Hmm.. so far two for two. Nicole, I've never been a fan of Viktor either but it has the right connotation and it works for him, I think???? Or if someone has a Latin name they think is better....I'm willing to listen. I originally had him named Maximilian, but decided there are too many heroes named Max.

Patsy, thanks for chiming in.

Oh, my, gosh. When I looked at the names and the picture, Viktor came to my mind, too. And I've never liked that name. There was a 'bad' guy on a soap opera I watched years and years ago, and his name was Victor.

Congrats on the workshop and book sales!

Ah, Francesco Cura -- nice choice! I'd go with Viktor. And I don't know why, but the "k" just makes it sexier!

Ooo! Pretty. I would vote, Dontae. But, looks like Viktor is winning.

LOL, Helen. I should have known you would know the model! Yes, since I don't like Victor, I liked the unique Latin spelling with the K. Gives it a whole different connotation to me.

Mary, I'm kind of partial to that as well. And it's not the usual spelling.

Well Paty, it seems you have some good ideas for names already! The man in the photo is certainly sexy enough for any hero! Good luck with the naming contest.

Thanks, Kaye.

Yes, I think I picked the right image for my hero and the name is looking to be good as well.
