Friday Faves

Silence is Golden. Especially after hosting three grandchildren ages 6,4,and almost 3 for two weeks. I love them but having a tranquil house once again is heaven.

Faves this week- Finishing the Christmas decorating with the help of my three elves.

Finding a new dentist that I like.

The weather warmed up, but with that the snow melted and it no longer looks like Christmas here.

The Sing Off is back. I love hearing the groups and songs. It is the purest form of music.

Unfaves, I'm behind on my writing and researching. Hope to kick start it this weekend if the dh doesn't keep me too busy.

Didn't make it to the movie Tangled with the grandkids. Rietta fell asleep on the way to town so we had to abort the the plan. She even slept through me lifting her out of her car seat and putting her in a shopping cart, the trip through the store with her brothers piling her with groceries. One lady walked by saying. "Butter on the baby." I looked down and Kelly had stacked the squares of butter on Rietta's tummy. She slept through the check out, putting her back in the car seat, delivering the boys to Gramps at work and even hauling her out of her car seat to go into another store. That's how sound she sleeps. If only I could sleep that way.

Did you have something good happen this week?

Wow. Wish I could sleep that soundly. Sounds like you had a fun week.

I'll put the tree up this weekend. Probably.

It's like a heatwave out there ... almost. :) Have a good one, Paty!

Wow, she is a sound sleeper!

My fav was today...I spent it taking care of my 4 month old granddaughter at her house, which meant no distractions. Just her and me. While she slept, cuddled next to me on the couch, I watched Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel. Awesome day!

A name of one of your books?
I love Spirit of the Mountain.

Keep up the great reads, Paty.

Lauri, You're day sounds wonderful. My grandkids are all at the age they want to wrestle or be chased! I'm wore out!

HI Chris,

Thanks!

I'm counting the days with you. It has to be a good feeling to know you are about to end one saga of your life and embark on another.
