Monday Mystery - Castle

I'm a huge fan of the TV show Castle.  I like the way the Novelist Richard Castle uses his mystery writing skills to help the detectives discover the murderers. Because mystery novels require all types of twists and turns to lead the reader down the wrong path of the story, Castle is always looking for that twist or turn in the real life murders on the show.

Along with my mystery and intrigue I also like humor. Life would be colorless without humor. Even the smallest silly thing can be monumental if the scene is full of danger. When you watch police shows the officers sometimes have an off-color sense of humor. It's their way of coping with the horrors they see every day. This is a good way to even out the horror of the scene.

What is your favorite mystery/whodunit TV or movie? And why?

I love watching Castle. Since I am at work when it is on, I record it. When I get home that is the first thing that I watch. I had always loved watching Murder She Wrote. I also watch Bones which is inspired by Kathy Reichs.

I've never seen Castle but I am an absolute fan of Inspector Lewis. I like how he's trying to make his way after the death of his wife in a hit and run while coping with a Chief Superintendent who thinks he should retire. Now I just need to watch Inspector Morse.

Becky, I like any mystery. Loved Murder She Wrote but the character in Bones drives me crazy. Don't know why.

Pamela, I haven't seen Inspector Lewis.
