Rodeo Re-release Party!

I'm re-releasing Bridled Heart my second contemporary western romance today. It was a book I felt needed to be written. The heroine has overcome sexual abuse and the hero is a bareback bronc rider. I loved pitting someone who is in danger every day with a woman who is an ER nurse. They have several things to overcome, and yet, they both need the other person.

I interviewed Bobby Mote four-time Bareback National Finals winner to understand a rodeo cowboys life and what he things and feels when riding. His wife Kate also added information about the family life of a rodeo cowboy.

To help showcase this re-release, I'm having a Facebook party with 8 other author friends. We'll be on Facebook from noon to 9PM Pacific time on Friday, Dec. 2nd.  Come on by. Everyone will be talking books, rodeo, and romance, and giving away lots of prizes.

Bridled Heart
A contemporary western romance
ER nurse, Gina Montgomery, uses a self-imposed vow of celibacy to keep from getting too close to anyone. Music saved her from an abusive past. But that same solace compromises her solitary life when her piano playing draws the attention of a handsome bareback rider.

Holt Reynolds let his sister down when she needed him most. Seeing similarities between his sister and Gina, he can’t get visions of the woman or her poignant music out of his mind. He vows to find a way to free her of her past and prays it doesn’t resurface and destroy their chance at happiness.
