RWA Rocks!

I attended a chapter meeting last night and learned a great way to make sure the story in my head will work as a book. Or if I have everything in the book to make it work. Then I read a blog on when there is too much emotion- and with me in the editing phase of my paranormal, this is all great information. I don't know if I've said this before, but RWA rocks! I don't know of anywhere else a writer can glean so much information. And all given with a generous heart to help other writers. The comraderie and helpfulness of romance writers makes me proud to be part of this organization.

It was a great meeting wasn't it. I can now see where my WIP needs work and that I don't know my heroine like I do the hero.

It was a great exercise for fleshing out my characters. I worked on it today a bit more. It was so frustrating but so helpful too. Frustrating because I now have to go back and fix so much. LOL That's what I get for doing no plotting before hand.

Ahh but I'm learning so much since I joined RWA.

I wish I could have been at the meeting! I was stuck on a stupid plane. But I'm glad it was sent on the loop today - very helpful things to consider. This is a great group :-)
