Moving along

Things are moving along on the trilogy. I am slowly figuring out the conflict and plot for the second book. The characters are slowly emerging. If I keep this up I should have the second and third in my head by the time I pitch at Nationals.

NATIONALS! What fun! I'm excited and scared. I don't like large crowds and from what I hear - That's all it will be! And I especially don't like large crowds of women. I grew up in a male oreinted household. Two brothers and have always felt awkward around too much estrogen! But I'm willing to tough it out to meet agents and editors who have rejected me and try one more time to get them to ask me to sent to them.

Rejection- I have always (having two brothers) never backdown when someone told me I couldn't or shouldn't do something (usually because I was a girl) I always had to do everything better than my brothers. Well, when an editor or agent rejects me, it just makes me that much more determined to sell. And sell I will, and I will be a household names and all those agents and editors will be saying, " I could have had her on my list". HA! to them!

Check out www.knightagency.blogspot.com I'm scratching my head here thinking, "high concept?" Like I need one more thing to stress out about.

And their whole discussion about pitching in the comment sections has me now dreading Nationals...
