Another year older and fluffier!

I had a birthday yesterday and it didn't bother me.
TODAY- now that's another story! I saw more wrinkles when I looked in the mirror this morning and I feel fluffier! And not one ioda wiser! I think that's the worst part as you age wisdom is to come and these days, trying to make my paranormal story longer, I feel like my brain has come to a screeching pile of mush. This could be my breakout book and I can't get the $^%$& thing long enough for anything other than a novella! I want a contract for a book at least 90,000 words long. 100,000 would be better, but I KNOW that's not going to happen! Not unless the Creator taps me on the head and says, "Dummy, this is the sub plot you need."

Okay off to work I go. At least there I can look like I know what I'm doing. :)

Ahhh Paty, Happy Birthday!

You need to relax and give yourself a little time and space away from your wip then the sub-plot will all of a sudden pop into your head and you won't be able to get to the computer fast enough!

I hope had a fun day for your birthday and that you at least went someplace for dinner and a movie.

Happy Belated!

Hope it was grand!

Now. How many words is your WIP? I can't even fathom being short. I'm always waaaaay over.

I'm at 50,000 and from what I gather for a paranormal, I need to have at least 85,000. But would prefer 90,000-95,000 since it is historical. All historicals are supposed to be 100,000 and out of all 6 I've written I've only managed to get 2 of them to 100,000 would out pushing!
