Finished

I am at the end of the first draft of the contemporary. It ain't purty, but it's done. Lucky for me I don't mind going back through and sprucing it up. (because as usual I need more words) I wasn't even really thinking about the ending other than getting it down so I could get the paranormal sent out.

I'd written a synopsis and knew how it would end, then Sunday morning as I lie in bed, slowly coming to conscienceness, the scene played through my head and it was different than I had planned. But what made it so cool, was it involved a secondary character that I had left sort of unresolved. The revelation tied up a lot of loose ends for the hero! I love it when I've written in a character not knowing he had such a specific role in the story and then bam! at the end it makes everything more solid. Gotta love those characters!
