New week, new start!

If you skip over to the Mid-Willamette Valley Chapter blog, you'll see one of the new projects I'll be starting soon.

But the big drum roll for this week is...... I'm starting the second Petticoat book. It's been simmering in my head a while now, I know the heroine and her backstory. Zeke is getting a little clearer in my head. I'm seeing the internal struggles that will go on between them and some of the outside conflicts and my fingers are itching to start flying across the keys.

So, I'm giving the rewrites (which are nearly done, just one more pass through) on the spirit book a chance to sit and meld. When I finish the first draft of Outlaw in Petticoats, I'll do a last run through on the spirit book, then polish up the outlaw book. That way, I'm not getting burned out on the revisions.

So what have you been up to? Writing, reading, shoveling snow, or getting ready to do some spring planting?
