Ack! It's Monday!

Yes, Monday is almost gone and I just remembered I haven't blogged! You know me and my can't have the same blog up too long! LOL

Let's see, well today, my husband and I had a good laugh. Our dog Tink (who is helping me edit in the pic) was scratching her ear with her hind leg, then she sniffed her toes, and my DH started chuckling and said, "It's like a person who picks their nose and looks at the booger!" We both cracked up and she did it again and we cracked up again.

Anyway, it got me to thinking, you know about people who pick their nose, their butts, their ears - we've all seen them, but have you ever put a telling habit like that to a character? Or read a book with a character who had a unusual habit?

I'm trying to do this more--I think that little habits create distinctive characters! And cute pictures!

I haven't done this yet because I've not written enough, but I'm going to do it because it's a great way to have fun with your characters.

Great story about Tink. LOL

The one thing that pops into my mind when you ask if we've read about telling habits is not something I've read, but rather something I've watched on Saturday Night Live years ago. It's Molly Shannon's character Mary Katherine and she puts her fingers under her arm pits when she's nervous and then pulls them out and smells them. It's soooo disgusting and hilarious at the same time.
