Yep, I'm starting something new this week. Every Monday I'll have a quote, a grammar rule, a writing truth, or something that has to do with writing up on my blog.
Today, it's a quick little exercise. Sum up your weekend in one attention getting sentence that would hook the reader.

Okay, I'm game....
As I drove through the pouring rain, flinching at each great boom, Saturday morning, little did I realize by Sunday night I'd be engrossed in a fantasy land.
Nice Lauri! I can feel the storm and the coziness later on. Or if it's a paranormal-- the storm transported you to a fantasy land. LOL
Taking a mud bath on a hot afternoon had never made it to my to-do list...until last Saturday.
It was all about the video - drama and stories and music - making my own and watching.
