Monday Mulligan Stew
We are in Alaska visiting our son and his family. On the long drive up, 5 days, with our daughter and her family, we saw a black bear, young caribou, bison, a couple of moose, and a bald eagle. We drove an average of 14 hours every day and had two sections of road about a hundred miles each of roads that would rival a carnival ride! But we're here and should have some fun visiting before we head home on the plane.
I'd planned to write on the drive but between being the movie putter-inner, snack dispenser, and the bumpy roads, I didn't accomplish much writing.
A bookstore owner contacted me for a reading and signing in my home town the Saturday after Thanksgiving. That should be fun.
How was your weekend?

Wow! Quite the collection of wildlife! Enjoy the vacation and family, and congrats on the hometown book signing.
Wow, that is a long drive. I've always wondered why the plural of moose isn't meese. Guess it just sounds too weird. :)
Enjoy your trip! You'll have to spill on the reading, so I can rally the troops.
