Fact Friday

Have you ever contemplated the way the U.S. highways are numbered?

Odd-numbered highways run north to south, with lowest numbers in the east and highest numbers in the west. And the west-to-east highways are even-numbered, with the lowest numbers in the north and highest numbers in the south.

This information was told to me many years ago by y truck driving husband. It's information I have kept with me when traveling around to let me know which way a road is heading. Thankfully I've never been one to get lost. I always look at a map before I go anywhere alone and discover the main roads so I know when I cross them where I am and where I need to be.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
