The Next Big Thing- Week 10

Jacquie Rogers tagged me to be part of the "The Next Big Thing". So here goes!

1.What is the working title of your book?
Secrets of an Aztec Temple

2. Where did the idea come from for the book?
When I was discussing the fact I'd read an action/adventure that hadn't held up the action adventure part in my estimation, a fellow writer suggested I write one. So I wrote and published Secrets of a Mayan Moon and that started the Isabella Mumphrey Adventures series.

3. What genre does your book fall under?
Action adventure with romantic elements.

4.Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
A young Antonio Banderas, Zoey Deschanel
5.What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
What would you do if to exact your revenge you had to kill your lover?
6.Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
Self-published

7.How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
I'm still working on it. Been at it about two months with interruptions.

8. What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
The first book Secrets of a Mayan Moon,

9. Who or What inspired you to write this book?
See question 2 above.

10. What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
It's set in Mexico City. The hero Tino is a DEA Agent undercover with the drug lord he is trying to take down. Isabella is in Mexico City to discover who is stealing artifacts from the Templo Mayor museum. They can't allow the drug lord to know about their intimate connection yet it is that connection which gives them the strength they need to defeat the drug lord.

These are the rules for my five tagged friends to follow:

Thanks Mary! Wish I had more time to work on it. Lately it's been everything but writing.
