I was asked/tagged by the talented Gerri Bowen to participate in The Next Big Thing. Since I never turn down an opportunity to do free promotion I accepted. The premise of this is to allow writers to talk about their WIP (work in progress) by answering ten questions. Her blog is: http://www.gerribowen.com/
What is your working title of your book?
Secrets of an Aztec Temple
Where did the idea come from for the book?
While complaining there was a good action adventure romance out there another writer and I brainstormed the idea of a genius anthropologist who has adventures.
What genre does your book fall under?
Action Adventure Romance
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
A young Antonio Banderas and Julia Stiles
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
What if the only way to get revenge was to kill your lover?
Self-published just like the first book of this series
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
Three months.
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Hidden Mountain by Sammy Sutton
Who or what inspired you to write this book?
Having read a book that was promoted as an Action Adventure with a female Indiana Jones and being disappointed.
What else about your book might pique the reader's interest?
I have a genius, socially-inept heroine who has captured the attention of a Latino DEA agent. They both try to fight the attraction but sparks fly and the action mounts.
The five writers I'm tagging are:
Danita Cahill
Alison Bruce
Lauri Robinson
Annabeth Albert
