Unedited Blurb:
Jeremy Duncan traveled to the Yukon five years earlier to
prove to the Halsey family he could make it on his own. He discovered panning
for gold wouldn’t make him rich and started hauling freight. Just as he’s ready
to head home, find a wife, and settle down, a dainty, fragile young woman
arrives in Skagway looking for a guide to take her over Chilkoot pass and to
her brother in the interior.
Clara Bixbee, needs to find her older brother. Their
father has died. If she doesn’t bring her brother back to Seattle to take over
the family business before the manager runs it into the ground, her mother and
four younger siblings will be out on the street.
Which one of these endings makes you want to read more?
1) Between Jeremy’s conscience and Clara’s conviction they’ll
find her brother, but will it be too late?
2) Neither Jeremy nor Clara are prepared for the steam that
rises from their attraction and the knowledge they need one another to survive not
only in the wilderness but in civilization.

I think I like #2 better. But maybe a mix of the two would be best. : )
Love the cover! ~ Viola
Thanks Christy and Viola!
Great cover, Paty. Of the two endings, the first one doesn't quite make sense to me; the last part doesn't match up with the first. I think you can come up with something better than either of these.
HI Charlene, Yeah, they are just the first things that came to mind when I thought, "Oh, I should toss a blurb up with the cover." LOL I have a writer friend who is killer with blurbs who I will be sending it to after she critiques the book.
