Progress- more ways than one!

I've been riding my horse every day. Man, does that feel good! When I worked for the extension service I was lucky to get on him once a month. With the every day work out he should get pretty sound. He's seven and been ridden about 4-5 times a year! So he is still pretty green, but he's been doing awesome.

On the writing- I punched out ten pages on Outlaw in Petticoats yesterday. I've just about hit my goal for the next RWA chapter meeting and I still have 3 1/2 weeks to go! At the rate I'm going I should have the first draft done by then!

And I'm not sure if I mentioned it yet on my blog, but I'm scheduled to do a reading/signing at the Paulina Springs Books in Sisters, Oregon on Friday, June 29th at 6:30 pm. I'm excited to have another chance to speak and sell books locally. Now if I could just figure out how to get them in book stores farther away...

And that is my progress this week.

What have you done this week toward progress of any kind? Writing, Spring Cleaning, Working with an animal, Working/playing with your kids.

Sorry about going back through all your blog posts and finally commenting on them so late. I got a bit behind. LOL

Your horsey is so cute! Glad you're both able to get in daily workouts now.

Woo Hoo on the 10 pages! That's great!

Too bad the signing is on the 29th instead of the Friday before so that all the retreaters could go too. Dang! But good luck with it and have fun.

Progress for me this week has been quite a bit. I've been writing, making characters sketches, planting my garden and flower pots. Digging up billions of horrid rocks out of my yard, and catching up on the laundry. Joy. Oh, and we're participating in a garage sale with my sister-in-law who lives next door to me, so we've been out in the heat setting that up. It's ridiculous how much crap people compile in shut a short amount of time, and then they end up selling it for pennies at yard sales. LOL
