Friday Fantastic Five

Yep, you guessed it! I have Five Fantastic things to talk about this week!

1) I had a great time yesterday just tagging along with a friend while she ran errands. And we had a nice lunch and caught up on things.

2) It's back to beautiful weather today! So I can ride my horse! Ye Haw!

3) A CP (critique partner) helped me brainstorm the ending for Outlaw in Petticoats- Yes, I'm that close to being done with the first draft!

4) I received an e-mail yesterday from a person who saw three Marshal in Petticoats books on a shelf in a Borders book store in Buffalo, New York! How cool is that!!!!!

5) I will be a grandmother for the 8th time this January!! Cool that I'll have another little one to spoil- not so cool to think I have 8 grandchildren! I don't feel that old!

What were the fantastic things that happened to you this week??

Wow! Awesome week you've had, Paty.

Good things that happened this week for me are...

1. Monday I finally finished planting my garden. (It's full of rocks! Ugh!)

2. Tuesday I got my house vacuumed, dusted, straightened, the laundry done. Basically, I over-hauled my house.

3. Wednesday I sat around all day in pain from over-doing the other two days, so I wrote and read. LOL

4. Thursday I got almost all my grocery shopping done, but the bread store was out of bread, so I have to go back for that. Oh, and I filled up the tank with gas and watered my garden and container plants for 3 hours. (Stupid that is takes so long, but we have two spigots for 1 1/2 acres. Pain!)

5. Today I plan on doing a little catch up on the household chores, watering my yard and writing in between moving the sprinkler in our little orchard. :)

Have a great Friday! Congrats on your brainstorming the rest of OIP. Too cool! Love that you have books in Buffalo, NY! Woo Hoo!

Piper, sounds like you had a good week as well! I'm so excited you are writing!!!

I planted some flowers in the pots I have beside the house. And something is eating just the marigolds. I planted the smelly marigolds to deter the deer from eating the other delicacies in the pots, so I'm not sure where the plants, all but the roots and one inch of the stem is going???
