I attended a retreat this weekend for our RWA chapter officers. It was at Yachts a quaint town on the Oregon coast. Our hostess and VP made it a welcome experience.
We hammered out ways to keep our chapter active, bring in some money, and made decisions about giving the members workshops and speakers that will help them in their aim to become published authors.
This is the first real get-together we've had for officers and I think it was a great step toward making our chapter stronger and a group where writers and really get to know one another and learn what they need to become published or enhance their projects if they are already published.
