Semi-Romantic Weekend

We had a fast and furious weekend, but enjoyed every minute. The Mid-Willamette Valley RWA chapter had a one day conference that I attended while my husband bought a new toy. A GPS gadget. Then we continued on to the coast had a nice dinner in a restaurant overlooking the ocean, took Tink for a walk on the beach in a drizzle. This is a dog that tippy toes across wet ground so it was interesting! Then we spent a couple hours at a casino. But we both didn't like the smoke and crowd and called it an early night.

The next day we met up with our oldest daughter and her family. We toured the airplane museum in Tillamook and then walked through the cheese factory. Our daughter was a 4-H dairy member and loves dairy cows and all things that deal with it so she wanted to take her husband and kids to the factory. We watched the few workers working on a Sunday, of course made some cheese purchases, and then ate lunch and headed home.

It seems like we weren't gone. And yet, if seems like we were gone a long time! The kids all left today so now I have to get busy and get some writing done!

How was your weekend?
