The Beach Retreat I attended this past weekend was a wonderful retreat and treat! There were eleven women all with the same goals at the retreat. We talked, laughed, and got a lot of writing related things done.
The weather was gorgeous! We couldn't have asked for better coastal weather. The sun shone, the wind was mild, all you needed was a sweatshirt when walking the beach. I wish I hadn't forgot to take along extra batteries for my camera. The first morning I was walking on the beach before seven and the scene was spectacualr! The pink sunrise reflected on the thin layer of water on the sand as the tide receeded. It was beautiful and me with a dead camera! I could have kicked myself clear out into the middle of the ocean!
One author finished her book, several managed over twenty pages on their WIPs, I did revisions on 190 pages of the book that's going to my editor in March. Another did over 100 pages of revisions. And we all had plenty of time to visit, laugh, brainstorm, and enjoy writing thoughts and inspirations as well as life.
It was a fun group and I can't wait for next year's retreat!
If you want to see a small slide show of the Oregon Coast and the house where we stayed click here. (I didn't take the photos a fellow retreater did) (I stayd in the look out room at the top.)

I couldn't view the pictures, but it sounds like it was wonderful!
And congrats on the great EPPIE interview at The Wild Rose Press!
You know what? Those photos are on the chapter loop so unless you're a chapter member I bet you can't see them! Shoot! I'll have to find another way for people to see photos.
I couldn't view them either! But it sounds like a it was a great weekend!
