This is our youngest granddaughter with Santa.
My talented and tolerant daughter has revamped my website. Please take a gander at it and let me know what you think. What do you like about it, what doesn't work or you would like to see. We are both open to suggestions as I want to make it as viewer friendly and interesting as we can. www.patyjager.com
I'm working my way through polishing the recently finished WIP. My goal is to have equerries sent out to agents either the end of this week or the beginning of next. I've been blessed to have found a person in Montana who is willing to go to the Historical Society and find information for me. You can bet she is getting a signed copy of this book!
Now that the holidays are over and my company will be leaving this week, I plan to throw myself into writing and promoting with even more gusto.
I don't know if it's because I have an Alaskan cruise in September 2009 to look forward to that has me so optimistic about this coming year or good things are in the air for my writing.
How do you feel about 2009? Is it just another year or do you feel excited about it?

Nice new blog look too! Haven't been here in a while. Smack me! LOL
You've been so busy! Congrats on all you've accomplished. You've really rocked!
I'm really looking forward to this year and feel very optimistic about it. I have some big goals and plans and feel very excited about them.
I'm so happy in my new house and it's made a huge difference in my attitude. Now I just have to get the last odds and ends from moving taken care of and I'll be ready to get my goals/new routines started. Woo Hooo!!
Good luck with your promo stuff for this year and I know you'll do great with your writing goals too, you always do! :)
Happy New YEAR!!
I hope to see big things happen in all areas of my life this year. How about you Paty?

Hi Paty, love the new look!
I'm glad you're feeling great about 09! I haven't set my yearly goals yet, but I have set goals for January. I need to sit down and think about this year. Last year, I wrote 229K! Not sure if I can top that, with everything else that's going on now. What I really need to do is concentrate on submitting, which is not my favorite thing.
Good luck with your goals!
Helen
Nice site! I love the name of your book Outlaw in Petticoats. Are you a member of Women Writing the West? You should think about it, if you're not.
We're neighbors, sorta. I live north of Seattle in Mount Vernon WA.

Thanks Lauri! Same to you in 2009!
Thanks Helen, I felt like I needed a professional makeover.
Hi Heidi, I must have missed the women writing the west, I belong to a couple other western writer groups. I'll check it out.
Love the new design, Paty!
