This that and the other thing

I'm moving a tad bit slow today. After my muscles warm up I'll decide whether or not I'll do a video exercise. It snowed several inches here over the weekend, so walking my usual route is out. I'd slip more than I'd walk. And the video may be out since I fell getting on the hay trailer yesterday when we were loading it up for this week's feedings. Every Sunday we load two trailers- One with 30 bales and one with 40 to get us through the week and ready to load again on Sunday. As I was climbing up on the first trailer, my foot slid on the tongue and my glove caught on a nail. Needless to say, my body fell across the tongue and jerked the poor arm attached to the nail. I have a couple bruises I'm not sure how I managed. But we loaded the trailers, and we're ready for this week.

Today you can find me guest blogging at "I do not want to wait I want the book now". Greta asked me lots of great questions, and I'm giving away one of my first books to someone who comments.

I'm doing research for the next Halsey brother book. I know, it should have been written by now, but I've been, hopefully, building some other avenues for my writing.

My plans this week are to finish the fine tuning on my latest book and send out agent queries. What plans do you have for this week?

Ouch, Paty! You gotta be more careful. 8^)

My plans for the week are always the same, though a couple of my regular design projects are starting up to keep me busier than usual. Puppy duty is a given. She gives me my daily exercise. And I'll try to write my 1000 words a day, but that rarely goes as planned.

Have a good week!

I'm so sorry you got hurt! I can't imagine doing all the things you do.

I have tons to finish up this week to make my January goals. Not sure I'll get to all of them, but I'm sure as heck going to try!

Ouch! Don'cha just love how our bodies constantly remind us that we're not getting any younger?

I hope you're feeling better. I'd take it easy on the exercise today, but then, any excuse to be a slug, LOL.

I couldn't get the link to work to the guest blog site but will try to search for it and check it out!

Feel better!
Nic

Karen, Sounds like your plans should keep you busy this week.

Helen, Godo luck with yoru January goals. I'm the same way. I want so bad to send out the agent queries. And I probably will, just to get them out so they quit staring at me! LOL

Nic,Yeah, banging myself up is a good reason to not exercise. LOL I fix the link, Not sure what I did wrong the first time, but it's working now.

Good Lord Lady! It sounds like you get enough exercise on a daily basis, forget the video! If I fell loading a hay wagon I'd still be in bed with a heatpack/icebag.

BTW...Great interview today!

My plan for his week is to not freeze to death. Other than that, I'm hoping to finish up a short story I'm working on.

Paty, so sorry to hear you "fell of the wagon", LOLOLOL Sorry, couldn't pass that one up.

But seriously, I'm soooo sorry you got hurt. That sucks. You should take it easy and see if you have any injuries before doing any strenuous exercise. Just be careful and don't push yourself. Knowing you you'll push through the pain; and then where will you be if you hurt yourself more?!! Dr. Piper's orders... Drink some hot cocoa and read for a day to heal up! If I had a prescription pad I'd write it out for you and sign it! :)

My plans for the week are to get my kids registered at their new schools, get the garage sale stuff cleaned up, catch up on laundry and general house cleaning that's been neglected for the last week, and then on Friday I have to go to an overnight retreat with church gals and our daughters. Ugh! I hate stuff like this! But we're doing some humanitarian aid type stuff or something, so I guess I should be happy to go and help. LOL

Good luck on your goals and be good to yourself.
