Babysitting

Today should prove to be interesting- I'm watching my oldest daughter's daughters. She had to work and needed a babysitter. They are 5 and 3.

I'm working on a Christmas novella and will go to the library tonight to read microfiche from the newspaper at the time the story is set. I love doing that- weaving local events that happened into my stories. Few people probably realize I do it, but it makes me feel like I'm doing my part to make the story alive and real.

Since it's a Christmas story I listen to Christmas music as I write. Not sure if it's helping the writing but it's fun.

This week proves to be busy with babysitting, writing, and putting my dad on a plane to visit my other daughter in Alaska.

How is your week stacking up?
