Friday Faves

I'm sitting in a house on the Oregon Coast enjoying the swell and roar of the waves. This is the way I like to write! I had a good night's sleep and am ready to write all day. the weather here is drizzly but the wave are awesome. I didn't go for a walk this morning because the tide is in and it comes clear up to the land so there's no beach to walk. I'll head out there this afternoon.

This week was a fantastic week. My second contemporary western was contracted. I reconnected with the Nez Perce woman who helped me with Spirit of the Mountain, and I confirmed the workshop I'm giving next month to a writer's group in Dayville.

Gorgeous shot of the beach. Sigh. The one near my house is covered with snow now.

I'm sitting here watching my two boys and the dog build a snowman. Normally a foot of snow doesn't cause much but a nuisance around here, but we got that much snow in 4 hours overnight and it's still snowing!

Hope you get lots of R&R--rest and ritin'--in this weekend.
