Great weekend

The workshop on Book Proposals went well on Saturday. Fifteen people attended, they all were enthusiastic and had great questions. I enjoy helping other writers. I remember when I first started and tried to find a group or other writers to glean information from. Now that I have some worthwhile information to share, I feel it is my way of paying forward for the help I've been given and still receive from my writing friends.

I finished the edits on Bridled Heart and sent it back to my editor. I hope these fix the problems she saw in the manuscript.

The dh and I worked outside a lot yesterday. I finished spreading a pile of bark that had been sitting for over a year. Yeah, I know, it just was never on my radar to finish spreading it. But the lump is gone now and it sparked me to get busy and clean out the flower beds. The good news is while I slaved away spreading the bark the title of my next project, which I can start on today, came to me. What do you think of Secrets of a Mayan Moon?

I'm also Chatting with Anna Kathryn today so come on by and learn about my research for Miner in Petticoats.

Congrats on the workshop and the yard work! You and your writing have certainly been inspirations to me!

I'll head over to your interview now.
