George had a pedicure this week. Okay, so it was a hoof trim but he likes to think of it as a pedicure! He had one hoof that was curling up like an elf shoe. Maybe he was just getting in the mood for Christmas?
There is no doubt George has personality. The other day made it clear that he exudes charm like a skunk exudes its own personal perfume. Tink was barking like crazy and she only barks if someone is coming up the driveway. I pulled myself away from the computer to see what was the matter.
Looking out the window I saw a UPS truck stopped in the driveway in the middle of the field in front of the house. The UPS man got out, walked over to George, crouched beside him with their heads together, and took a photo of the two of them. The UPS driver got back in his truck and came to the house. Red faced he admitted to taking a photo with George to send to his wife. He couldn't resist the cuddly face and knew his wife would like the photo!
George is a magnet. Everyone loves his furry face and he loves the attention.
Yesterday as I crossed the field from feeding at the barn, I saw George standing behind his buddy, Bud in the field. He was on the side opposite the wind. Not only is he cute but smart,. He was using his bigger friend as a wind break.
