Online chats

I'm sitting here waiting for Yahoo to send the excerpt from MIP to the online chat I'm participating in this afternoon. When I sat down to do this there were 345 posts to this loop I had to glance through and delete. The good news, there have been about five of the posters say they love westerns! Hope that means they'll hop over to TWRP and pick up my book when the day is done.

Things seem to be much slower later in the day than they were this morning. Oh well, at least I won't have to fight for space! I have three excerpts prepared to send out and my reviews. I've answered only a couple of questions and hope more come my way. You know, I'm not chatty in person and I am even less so online. LOL

So, as I keep getting messages on the chat, I'm sitting here typing on this blog instead of writing. Hmmm.. guess I should go do that!

Do you ever participate in Online chats either as a reader or a writer? And if you do, what do you think of them? Do you go out and purchase a book they've talked about?

I love Chats Paty
Thats where I start picking books for my TBB list and find new Authors.
I now belong to 478 groups which are all author and publisher groups so I find lots of books.
And when I really like one I buy all of that authors work

Liz, I'm glad you popped over and read my blog. I have to say this chat has been much better then a couple of others I've participated in.

I'm actually having fun!

Hey Paty! Nope, never participate in chats anymore. It's usually too chaotic for my brain.

I wanted to tell you that Teresa Medeiros has a western you might want to read, it's called "Nobody's Darling".

Here's what it's about...

Billy Darling never enjoyed being a wanted man until the day Miss Esmerelda Fine marched into the Tumbleweed Saloon and pointed her derringer at his heart. Lucky for him, she's a mighty poor shot. Instead of killing him, she hires him to find her runaway brother. He should turn down her offer. He should resist her charms. But he doesn't. Because there comes a time in every man's life when he's got nothing left to lose...but his heart.

So check it out if you want to read a great author. I've read several of her books, none of them westerns, but I've loved all the ones I've read.

You're doing great getting yourself out there and stepping out of your comfort zone on-line and book signings, etc...

Keep it up!
